What is the Cancellation policy?

• Free Cancellation until April 25th.

• Partial refund until May 16th.

• No refund available after May 17th.

Who can attend this retreat?

• Incoming freshmen - outgoing senior, female dancers from any team or studio.

What if my dancer has medication?

• Medicine will be collected, recorded, and stored in a safe space monitored by core team at the retreat site. Girls will be reminded at designated times to take medication. A core team member will be in charge of administering and logging medication taken throughout the weekend.

• Dancers can keep inhalers, insulin, and EpiPens with parent approval so they are readily accessible. There will be a fridge available for insulin.

Is there a medical personal onsite?

• Yes, there will be a registered nurse on site.

Will there be food accommodations?

• SCR (Stoney Creek Ranch) will accommodate the following diets and allergies: gluten free, lactose free, and vegetarian. SCR is a nut-friendly facility, meaning we do not serve or use any items that overtly include nuts.

• SCR will also accommodate vegan diets but please note our options are limited as far as having alternatives for each item.

Are cell phones allowed during retreat?

• Cell phone use is not encouraged since our goal is to step away from our busy life and to be fully present during the weekend. Dancers will be asked to leave phones in the cabins except in the case of medical necessity.

How can I communicate with my daughter during the day if needed?

• There will be an emergency phone number provided through email prior to retreat. You will also be provided with Stoney Creek Ranch contact information.

What time is drop off on Friday and pick up on Sunday?

• Drop Off / Check- In will begin on Friday, May 23rd at 5pm. The retreat will officially commence at 6:15pm.

• Pick up will be Sunday at 11:15am.

What is the address of Stoney Creek Ranch? How far out is it from Houston?

• Address: 1912 Zimmerscheidt Road, New Ulm, Texas 78950

• SCR is about 1 hour 15 minutes from Downtown Houston.

How is the roommate situation determined? Are they guaranteed to be in a room with someone they know?

• You will receive an email closer to retreat containing a rooming preference form. We will try our best to accommodate rooming requests. You are guaranteed to be with at least one requested roommate.

Will there be small groups?

• Small groups will be randomly assigned based on age/grade level. Every small group will have an assigned core team leader.

What is the bathroom situation in the cabins?

• The cabins have dorm style bathrooms (toilets and showers). SCR provides 1 towel for each retreat participant.

Where will they be sleeping?

• Girls will be in different style cabins with bunk beds. Each bunk bed includes mattresses, sheets, a pillow, and a blanket provided by SCR.

What are the "free time" activities?

• Pool (lifeguard on duty), volleyball, napping, hanging out with friends, taking a walk around the property, optional group games facilitated by a core team member.

Are there chaperones in the cabins?

• There will be two adults per cabin to ensure the safety of the participants. Girls will be supervised throughout the weekend.

Will I need to bring extra cash?

• There will be merch available to purchase throughout the weekend.

Will there be refrigerators in the cabins?

• The cabins do not include a refrigerator, however, Z-hall (the main meeting space) has one if needed. You will not be able to refrigerate snacks unless it's for a dietary need.

Will my dancer receive a t-shirt?

• Yes, when you register it will ask for T-shirt size.
